Harett's Take on New Buds

Enjoying this year's harvest

This years harvest is being fully enjoyed, I am sure. It presents us at Cannabits with a literal cornucopia of fresh flavors and aromas. My thought goes to how especially distinct outdoor grown cannabis can be. The plant growing under natural conditions and the effect of the environment reflect in the final product. This years outdoor crop in the greenhouse grew under a set of conditions produced by nature and governed by the nurseryman unlike any other year, the plants reacted to their environment and produced a unique set of Cannabinoids, Terpenes, and Flavonoids.
These compounds came to the defense of the plant when stressed by the environment and developed crucial to the plants reproduction. After a long discussion about cannabinoids and terpenes, flavonoids are often understated . Flavonoids add just as much to the "Entourage Effect" as cannabinoids and terpenes.  Science has discovered several flavonoids with pharmacological effects. Factors like the location have affect on the plant. I have noticed that when deep shade blankets plants after being in direct sun they give off a strong aroma and some may sweat, this shade can come from a passing cloud and possible shower creating a dynamic change, provoking the plant to respond with its defenses that benefit us so much.
The characteristics we look for in cannabis are due to of these built in defenses and thanks to the chain of folks at Cannabits we have been able to enjoy a cornucopia of delight this year. I kinda miss harvesting my own but you guys kinda make it all better.

Best Wishes,   Harett :))
